Why StrokeSMART exists
After a stroke, the hospital focuses on saving your life. Then you go home, and the long road of recovery begins.
That road is physical, and it is also mental. Frustration, fear and loss of confidence can slow progress as much as weak muscles. StrokeSMART was built by someone who has walked that road, to make it clearer, more hopeful and less lonely.
How it works
- Set your SMART goals.Choose goals that are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time-bound — like walking to the corner shop, or buttoning a shirt.
- Check in every day.A quick daily check-in records how you feel, what you did and what you achieved.
- See your progress.Watch small wins add up over weeks and months.
- Bring your family in.The family dashboard lets loved ones follow your progress and cheer you on — from the next room or another country.
