Our story
CareHub.asia began with a personal experience.
Our founder, Dr Nith Vegaya, is a stroke survivor. In recovery he found plenty of medical care, but little to help with the daily work of getting better: setting goals, staying motivated, keeping the family involved, and staying mentally strong.
So he built it. StrokeSMART started in Australia as a recovery companion created by a stroke survivor, for stroke survivors. It is now coming home to Malaysia.
StrokeSMART is our first platform. It won’t be our last. Across Malaysia and Southeast Asia, the population aged 55 and above is growing fast, and the digital tools built for them have not kept up. CareHub.asia exists to close that gap.
